So we asked how about putting two tables together so our group of six could get a table. When we asked the front desk we were told that they were groups of 2 to 4. Now during are wanderings though the town we would walk by Pia's and see that people were indeed being seated. ![]() After another ~30 minutes (now a total of 90mins since "first contact") we were told something would open up soon. We said ok, and found a little place down the street to have a round of drinks. We were told we were still on the list, and it should be only a little longer. After over an hour of sightseeing and not getting any texts from Pia's, we walked back to learn the status of our being seated. Since it was a beautiful night we decided to walk around the quaint little town of Gulfport. Politely told that there would be at most an one hour wait for a table, and they would text us when the table was ready. We put our name down on the waiting list with the front people at the outside Veranda. earlier in the week and were specifically told they do not take reservations for their outside Veranda tables. We showed up early last night at 5:20pm, as we had called Pia's. We have been to Pia's several time before, and were anticipating a very enjoyable dinner.
